Recycled water scheme

A number of CIC Australia communities have the benefit of being plumbed to large scale regional recycled water schemes. Generally this water can be used around the home for outdoor uses and indoor uses including toilet flushing and sometimes in washing machines but not for drinking or human washing. These schemes contribute to a large saving in drinking water and also reduce the impact of wastewater discharged into the environment.
